Set up your subs and fees

Every team needs at least one plan before it can open for registration. A parent pays for one plan for each child, plus any registration fee.

Before you start

Add your season and your teams first. The plan form lists the teams in your season.

Season plan. The price of playing. Parents pay in one go, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
Registration fee. Optional. A one-off charge on top of the plan, taken when the parent registers. Parents do not choose it as a plan.
Pay as you go. For sessions such as Wildcats. Add it here, then put it on the session, not on a team.
Sibling discount. Optional. It takes money off the plan for a second child. Set it up in Discount rules.

Select Subs and fees in the menu.
Select Add a plan or fee.
Choose the kind of plan, and enter the name and the amount.
Choose how often the parent pays. For a monthly plan, choose how many months.
Choose what happens to a player who joins part way through. Sideline suggests a fair share of the month they join. Once your season has started, Sideline adds it to their first monthly payment.
Check the teams. Teams with no plan yet are ticked. Untick a team the plan is not for.
Select Add it.

The plan shows on the right, under Your plans and fees, with the teams it is on. A warning names each team that has no plan yet.

Yes. Nothing is charged until a parent registers. To change which teams have a plan, select Choose teams on the plan.

Yes. A parent picks one plan when they register. For example, you can offer a monthly plan and a yearly plan.

A team with no plan cannot open. Add a plan and tick the team.
