See welfare alerts on your phone
The club app tells you when a welfare matter is waiting for you, such as a new case or a sanction that ends soon. It never shows what a case is about: you read and work on cases in the full site.
Before you start
You need the Open and decide welfare cases permission. Usually the welfare officer and the club owner have it. The club owner can give it to you.
To open the club app from the full site, select App at the top of the screen.
See your welfare alerts
- In the club app, select Inbox, then To do.
- Select Welfare alerts.
- Select Open in full site next to an alert to read the case and work on it.
Each row is one alert:
- A safeguarding disclosure needs acknowledging: a parent or player told the club about a safeguarding matter when they registered or enrolled in a session. The row shows the case reference and the date only. Open it in the full site, read it and select Acknowledge the disclosure.
- New case: someone opened a case. The row shows the case reference, who opened it and the date.
- Has no update: an open case has had nothing new for 60 days.
- A sanction ends: a suspension or ban ends in the next 7 days.
- Due for deletion: a closed case, or notes on a case, will be deleted soon. To keep them, extend them in the full site.
Common questions
Why can I not see the name or the details of a case on my phone?
A phone is easy to lose or to read over a shoulder. The app shows only that something is waiting. Open the full site to see the case.
Can I change a case on my phone?
No. All work on a case is in the full site.
Why do I not see welfare alerts?
You see alerts only when you can open every welfare case in the club. If the club gave you access to one case only, you see that case in the full site, but no alerts.
