Chase unpaid registrations
A parent can submit a registration before they pay. This page lists those registrations, so you can see who still owes a first payment and help them finish.
Before you start
You need the View finance permission to see the list. To waive a fee or record a payment, you also need the Manage payment overrides permission. The club owner can give you both.
See who has not paid
- Select Finance in the menu.
- Select Unpaid registrations.
- Read the list. Each row shows the player, the team, the payer, what the registration waits on, the date the place is held until, the reminders sent and the amount due now.
Families who asked for help to pay come first. Then come the places whose hold has ended, then the oldest registrations.
Settle an unpaid registration
- Find the registration in the list.
- To record cash or a bank transfer, select Mark as paid.
- To remove or lower the fee, select Waive or reduce.
The registration leaves the list when it is paid, waived or set up for Direct Debit. You can then confirm it in the registration queue.
Common questions
Does Sideline remind the family?
Yes. Sideline emails the person who pays 2 days and 7 days after the registration was submitted, if it is still unpaid. One email covers every unpaid child of that person. Reminders stop while a request for help to pay is open.
What happens when the held place runs out?
The list shows Hold ended. Sideline does not release the place. You decide whether to chase the family, waive the fee or withdraw the registration.
Can an unpaid player play?
No. You cannot confirm a registration until the first payment is made, waived or deferred, or the Direct Debit is set up. Only a confirmed player can be picked for a match.
