Add your affiliation numbers

Each team has an affiliation number from the FA. Some county FAs give the number only after players register. Sideline lets you open the team in both cases.

Before you start

You need the permission to confirm affiliations. Your club owner can give it to you.

Confirm a number

1. Select Season setup in the menu.
2. Open the affiliations step.
3. Enter the team's affiliation number.
4. Select Confirm.

Record that a team affiliates later

1. Open the team's row on the affiliations step, or open the team.
2. Select We affiliate after players register.
3. Enter the reason.
4. Save it.

The team shows Affiliates later, with who recorded it, when, and the reason. The team can now open for registration. The Dashboard lists the teams that still owe their number.

Common questions

What if I change my mind?

Select Undo to remove the deferral. Confirming the number also removes it.

What does a parent see?

Nothing different. The entry for the FA Club Portal says that the team is not affiliated yet.
